Zucapride 5

Zucapride 5 is a low-strength Micro tablet of teneligliptin, an oral antidiabetic from the DPP-4 inhibitor (gliptin) class. The smaller dose is helpful for gentle initiation or for people who need careful titration.

• Type 2 diabetes in adults
• Starting therapy at a lower dose
• Add-on to other diabetes medicines

Teneligliptin blocks the DPP-4 enzyme so gut hormones that signal the pancreas to release insulin after meals stay active longer. This improves insulin response and reduces sugar made by the liver between meals.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, normally once a day with or without food. Keep the timing consistent each day.

• Low blood sugar when used with sulfonylureas or insulin

Share any kidney, liver, or pancreas issues with your doctor. Report ongoing severe abdominal pain straight away.
