Zomelis from Eris Lifesciences contains Vildagliptin, an oral anti-diabetic medicine. It is prescribed for adults with type 2 diabetes, along with diet and exercise.

How it works
Vildagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor. It helps the body release more insulin after meals and reduces the extra sugar produced by the liver, keeping blood sugar levels steadier through the day.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food at the same time daily. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Continue with diet and regular exercise as advised.

Precautions
Not for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Tell the doctor about liver, kidney or pancreas problems, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Monitor blood sugar and liver tests as advised.
