Zomelis Met 50/1000

Zomelis Met 50/1000 from Eris Lifesciences combines Vildagliptin with Metformin. It is prescribed for adults with type 2 diabetes who need both these medicines together for better control.

Vildagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that increases insulin release and reduces sugar made by the liver after meals. Metformin is a biguanide that lowers liver sugar production and improves how muscles use insulin, giving steadier blood sugar overall.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or just after meals to reduce stomach upset. Swallow the tablet whole with water at the same time each day.

Not for severe kidney disease or diabetic ketoacidosis. Tell the doctor about liver, heart or pancreas problems, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Stop temporarily before scans with contrast dye if advised.
