About
Telma CT 80/6.25 from Glenmark combines the higher strength of Telmisartan (ARB) with a small dose of Chlorthalidone, a thiazide-like diuretic. It gives strong blood pressure control with gentler fluid loss.
Uses
- Moderate to severe high blood pressure
- Hypertension with mild fluid retention
- Lowering long-term risk of stroke and heart attack
- Maintenance therapy when stronger ARB action is needed
How it works
Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II at vessel receptors, keeping the vessels relaxed and wide. Chlorthalidone, even at a low dose, helps the kidneys clear extra salt and water, easing blood volume and pressure further.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor with water, preferably in the morning.

Precautions
