Gluconorm G2 Forte

Gluconorm G2 Forte from Lupin is a stronger version that brings together glimepiride (a sulfonylurea) with a higher dose of metformin (a biguanide). The Forte strength is generally chosen when a regular combination is no longer keeping blood sugar in the target range.

Glimepiride helps the pancreas release more insulin, and metformin gives the body a hand in using that insulin properly while also lowering glucose production by the liver, so sugar stays steadier between meals.
