Gluconorm G Plus 3

Gluconorm G Plus 3 from Lupin is a fixed-dose diabetes tablet that combines glimepiride (a sulfonylurea), metformin (a biguanide) and voglibose (an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor) in a single pill. It is generally chosen for adults with type 2 diabetes who need a bit more push than the lower-strength versions.

Glimepiride asks the pancreas to send out more insulin, metformin helps your body use that insulin better and reduces the sugar your liver makes, and voglibose delays the digestion of carbohydrates in the small intestine so glucose enters the bloodstream more gradually.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, ideally with the first mouthful of a meal. Swallow whole with water and try to keep meal timings steady through the day.
