Apaxanol 2.5 mg contains apixaban, an oral anticoagulant or blood thinner. The lower strength is typically used for long-term stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation or after the initial treatment of blood clots.

How it works
Apixaban directly blocks a clotting protein called factor Xa. This slows down the formation of clots inside blood vessels and helps reduce the risk of stroke and dangerous clots in the lungs or legs.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, swallowed whole with water. Do not skip or stop doses without medical advice as this can raise the risk of clots.
