About
Apaxanol 5 mg contains apixaban, a direct oral anticoagulant. This standard strength is widely used to prevent and treat blood clots and to lower the risk of stroke in people with atrial fibrillation.

How it works
Apixaban blocks factor Xa, a key enzyme in the clotting cascade. By interrupting this step, it makes the blood less likely to form harmful clots in the heart, legs or lungs.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Try to take it at the same times each day and do not miss doses.

Precautions
