Tenec is a combination tablet from All Pharma that brings together Diazepam, a benzodiazepine, and Propranolol, a non-selective beta blocker. It is often prescribed for short-term relief of anxiety symptoms where both mental tension and physical signs like racing heartbeat or tremor are present.

Diazepam calms overactive nerve signals in the brain by enhancing the action of GABA, a natural calming chemical. Propranolol blocks the effect of adrenaline on the heart and blood vessels, which helps slow a fast pulse and ease shakiness.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not stop suddenly, as the dose usually needs to be tapered.

Avoid alcohol and driving until you know how this medicine affects you. Share your history of asthma, heart block, low blood pressure, liver problems, or depression with your doctor. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised. Tell your doctor about all other medicines you take.
