CTD MT is a three-in-one blood pressure tablet from Ipca that brings together chlorthalidone, metoprolol and telmisartan. It is prescribed when one medicine alone is not enough to bring blood pressure into a healthy range.

Chlorthalidone is a thiazide-like diuretic that gently flushes out extra salt and water. Metoprolol is a beta-blocker that slows the heart and eases its pumping force. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker that relaxes blood vessels so blood flows more freely.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually once a day with water. Try to take it at the same time each day, with or without food.

• Light-headedness, especially when standing up quickly
• Tiredness or slower heartbeat
• Increased urination in the first few days
• Occasional headache or muscle cramps

Tell your doctor about kidney issues, asthma, diabetes or heart rhythm problems before starting. Avoid stopping suddenly. Not recommended during pregnancy.
