Telmikind AM Beta 50 from Mankind Pharma is a triple-combination tablet of Telmisartan, Amlodipine and Metoprolol. It is prescribed when BP and heart rate both need combined control.
Uses
- High blood pressure not controlled by two medicines
- BP with raised heart rate or angina-type chest discomfort, as advised by the doctor
How it works
Telmisartan is an angiotensin-receptor blocker that relaxes blood vessels. Amlodipine is a calcium-channel blocker that further widens arteries. Metoprolol is a beta-blocker that slows the heart and reduces the force of each beat, so the three together lower BP and ease heart strain.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with or just after food. Swallow whole with water. Do not stop suddenly because the beta-blocker needs gradual tapering.

Precautions
Tell your doctor about asthma, very slow pulse, heart block, severe heart failure, liver or kidney disease, or pregnancy. Avoid alcohol and rise slowly from sitting or lying down.
