Macsita M XR 100/1000 from Macleods is an extended-release antidiabetic tablet combining Sitagliptin with Metformin. It is prescribed for adults with type 2 diabetes who need stronger or smoother blood sugar control.

Sitagliptin raises the natural gut hormones that prompt the pancreas to release insulin when sugar is high. Metformin lowers sugar made by the liver and improves how cells use insulin. The extended-release form releases Metformin slowly so sugar control stays steady over many hours.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow whole with water during or right after a meal, preferably in the evening. Do not crush, break or chew the tablet.
