About
Embeta R 5 from Intas combines a beta-blocker with an ACE inhibitor at a higher strength. It targets blood pressure and heart strain together.
Uses

How it works
Metoprolol slows the heart and reduces its workload through beta-1 blockade. Ramipril blocks the hormone that constricts blood vessels, allowing them to widen. The combined effect eases heart load and lowers BP.
How to take
Swallow the tablet with water at the same time daily, as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop abruptly.

- Dry cough or dizziness
- Tiredness or slow heartbeat
- Raised potassium with long use
Precautions
Mention kidney disease, asthma, diabetes, or pregnancy plans to your doctor — ACE inhibitors are not safe in pregnancy. Periodic blood tests track kidney and potassium levels.
