Met XL AMT 50/5/40 from Ajanta is a higher-strength triple combination tablet with Metoprolol, Amlodipine and Telmisartan. It is given to adults whose blood pressure stays high despite weaker combinations.
Uses

How it works
Metoprolol calms the heart by blocking adrenaline signals, easing pulse and pressure. Amlodipine opens up small blood vessels. Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II, the hormone that narrows arteries. Together they keep blood pressure steady through the day.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, with or without food, swallowed whole at the same time each day. Do not stop the medicine on your own even if readings look normal.

Precautions
