About

Istamet D XR 500 from Sun Pharma is a slow-release combination tablet with sitagliptin, metformin and dapagliflozin used to help control type 2 diabetes.

Uses

How it works

Sitagliptin helps release insulin after meals, metformin slowly lowers liver-made sugar and improves insulin sensitivity, and dapagliflozin clears extra sugar through urine.

How to take

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily with food. Swallow whole with water and avoid breaking or crushing the tablet.

Precautions
