About

Diapride M1 HV by Micro Labs is a triple combination tablet of Glimepiride, Metformin and Voglibose. It is used in type 2 diabetes when blood sugar spikes after meals need extra help.

Uses

  • Helps manage type 2 diabetes
  • Controls post-meal sugar spikes

How it works

Glimepiride pushes the pancreas to release more insulin. Metformin reduces sugar made by the liver and improves insulin sensitivity. Voglibose, an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor, slows the breakdown of carbohydrates in the gut, blunting after-meal sugar rises.

How to take

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually right at the start of a main meal so Voglibose can act on the food. Do not skip the meal after taking it.

Side effects

  • Low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia)
  • Gas, bloating or loose motions
  • Nausea or stomach discomfort

Precautions

Share full history of kidney, liver or bowel problems. Use sugar (not table sugar/sucrose alone may act slower with Voglibose) as advised by your doctor for any low-sugar episode. Avoid alcohol excess.

Store below 25 degree celsius in a dry place, away from sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
