About
Telvas Beta 50 from Aristo is a fixed-dose blood pressure tablet that combines Telmisartan, an angiotensin-receptor blocker, with Metoprolol, a cardio-selective beta-blocker. The pair is commonly prescribed when a single medicine is not enough to control hypertension.
Uses
- High blood pressure (hypertension)

How it works
Telmisartan relaxes blood vessels by blocking the action of angiotensin II, the hormone that tightens them. Metoprolol slows the heart and reduces its workload by blocking beta receptors. Together they bring down pressure and ease strain on the heart.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually swallowed whole with water at the same time each day. Do not stop suddenly even if you feel well, as that can cause a rebound rise in BP.

Precautions
