Noltrexate 7.5

Noltrexate 7.5 is a higher-strength methotrexate tablet used mainly for autoimmune conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and severe psoriasis. It is a specialist-prescribed medicine that needs close follow-up.

• Moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis

Methotrexate calms an overactive immune system by slowing the rapid cell growth that drives joint and skin inflammation. This reduces pain, stiffness, and skin patches over weeks of use.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually once a week on the same day, not daily. Daily intake can cause serious side effects. Many doctors also prescribe folic acid alongside.

Regular blood and liver tests are essential. Avoid alcohol and live vaccines during treatment. Do not use in pregnancy or breastfeeding, and use reliable contraception during and after treatment as your doctor advises.
