Hyperneb 3%

Hyperneb 3% from Cipla is a sterile hypertonic saline solution containing 3% Sodium Chloride, used through a nebuliser. It helps loosen thick mucus in the airways so it can be coughed up more easily, often used in chest conditions like bronchiectasis and cystic fibrosis.

The salt solution draws water from surrounding tissues into the airways, thinning sticky mucus so the natural clearing action of the lungs (and coughing) can move it out. Cleaner airways mean easier breathing and fewer infections.

Use with a jet or mesh nebuliser as prescribed by your doctor. Inhale slowly and deeply through the mouthpiece. A bronchodilator inhaler is often advised 10–15 minutes before to reduce airway tightening.

Not suitable for everyone — your doctor may do a trial under supervision first. Tell your doctor about asthma or heart disease. Always use a clean nebuliser and a fresh ampoule each session.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from sunlight. Use immediately after opening; discard unused solution.
