Ipravent Respules from Cipla contain Ipratropium Bromide as a ready-to-use solution for nebulisation. They are prescribed to ease breathlessness in chronic lung conditions.

• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
• Chronic bronchitis
• Acute episodes of breathlessness
• Asthma flare-ups (as add-on)

Ipratropium is an anticholinergic bronchodilator. It relaxes the muscle around the airways so they open up, letting air move in and out more freely and reducing wheeze and chest tightness.

Use as prescribed by your doctor with a nebuliser. Twist open one respule, empty it into the nebuliser cup and breathe the mist through the mask or mouthpiece until it stops. Rinse mouth after use.

• Dry mouth, unpleasant taste
• Cough or throat irritation
• Headache
• Eye irritation if mist enters the eyes

Tell the doctor about any glaucoma, prostate or urinary problems. Keep mist away from the eyes; use a mouthpiece where possible. Not designed for sudden severe asthma attacks.

Store below 25°C, protected from light. Use any opened respule immediately and do not save leftover solution. Keep out of reach of children.
