Isabbael

Isabbael from Baidyanath is a traditional Ayurvedic preparation based on Bael (Aegle marmelos) fruit, often combined with Isabgol (Plantago husk). It is used as a gentle, time-tested digestive aid.

• Loose motions and irregular stools
• Mild diarrhoea
• Digestive discomfort
• Constipation alternating with loose stools (IBS-like symptoms)

Bael fruit pulp has natural binding and soothing properties for the gut lining. Isabgol husk forms a gel with water, adds bulk to stool and helps normalise bowel movements, supporting overall digestive balance.

Take as advised on the pack or by your Ayurvedic practitioner. Usually mixed in a glass of water or warm milk and taken once or twice a day. Drink plenty of water through the day.

• Rare allergic reaction

Do not use if you have difficulty in swallowing or a known bowel block. Drink enough fluids when taking husk-based products. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a doctor first.

Store in a cool dry place, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep the container tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
