Abhayarishta

Abhayarishta is a classical Ayurvedic tonic from Baidyanath, made by slow fermentation of haritaki (abhaya) along with other herbs and jaggery. It is a mildly sweet, dark syrup that families in India have used for generations to ease everyday digestive troubles.

Haritaki, the main herb, is well known in Ayurveda for gently moving the bowels and supporting digestion. The natural fermentation creates a self-generated alcohol base that helps the herbal goodness reach the gut quickly and act in a balanced way.

The usual practice is to take it with an equal quantity of water after meals, but please follow the dose written on the pack or as suggested by your Ayurvedic doctor.

Not recommended during pregnancy without medical advice. People with diabetes should keep in mind it contains jaggery. Avoid if you are sensitive to alcohol or take medicines that do not mix with self-generated alcohol.

Keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Shake gently before use and keep out of reach of children.
