About
Doxinate Plus Tablet from Mankind Pharma combines Doxylamine (antihistamine), Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) and Folic Acid. It is a prescription medicine used during early pregnancy to control nausea and vomiting while also supplying folic acid.
Uses
- Morning sickness in pregnancy
- Nausea and vomiting in pregnancy
- Daily folic acid support during early pregnancy (as advised)
How it works
Doxylamine quietens the vomiting centre in the brain, and Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) is known to reduce pregnancy-related nausea. Folic Acid is a B-vitamin that is essential in early pregnancy to support healthy growth of the baby's brain and spinal cord.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually swallowed whole with water at bedtime as it can cause drowsiness. Do not crush or chew. Continue for as long as the doctor advises.

Precautions
