Amicobol pairs a low dose of amitriptyline with methylcobalamin (an active form of vitamin B12). It is used to help with nerve-related pain and tingling, where nerves are irritated or not working properly.

Amitriptyline changes the way nerve signals are processed in the brain and spinal cord, so painful signals from damaged nerves feel less intense. Methylcobalamin supports the repair and maintenance of the protective covering around nerves, helping them work normally.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually at night because it can cause drowsiness. Swallow whole with water and take consistently for best results.

Tell your doctor about heart problems, glaucoma, an enlarged prostate, epilepsy or thyroid issues. Avoid driving until you know how the tablet affects you. Do not stop suddenly; your doctor will taper the dose.
