Benadon 15 tab

Benadon from Bayer is a vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) tablet. It is used to prevent and treat vitamin B6 deficiency and to support nerve and red blood cell health.

• Vitamin B6 deficiency
• Nerve pain or tingling linked to B6 deficiency
• Anaemia related to B6 deficiency
• Support during isoniazid therapy for TB
• Morning sickness in pregnancy (under medical advice)

Pyridoxine is converted in the body to its active form, pyridoxal phosphate, a co-enzyme that helps the body use protein, make red blood cells and produce brain chemicals. Topping up B6 supports these functions when intake is low or needs are high.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, swallowed with water. It can be taken with or without food.

• Nausea
• Mild headache
• Sleepiness
• Tingling sensation with very long or high-dose use

Do not take in higher amounts than advised, as long-term high doses can affect nerves. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or on medicines such as levodopa, where vitamin B6 can interact.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep tablets in the original strip and out of reach of children.
