Risdone Plus 10 tab

Risdone Plus from Intas brings together Risperidone, an antipsychotic, and Trihexyphenidyl, a medicine that helps with movement-related side effects. It is used in chronic mental health conditions that need both effects.

• Schizophrenia
• Bipolar disorder with severe symptoms
• Aggression or severe behaviour issues
• Movement side effects from antipsychotic medicines

Risperidone adjusts dopamine and serotonin in the brain to calm hallucinations and disorganised thinking. Trihexyphenidyl blocks acetylcholine in certain brain pathways, which reduces stiffness and shaking that some antipsychotics can cause.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow with water, with or without food. Continue even when you feel well; the doctor will guide any change in plan.

• Weight gain
• Dizziness on standing
• Blurred vision
• Constipation

Inform the doctor of heart, liver or kidney disease, diabetes, glaucoma, or urinary trouble. Avoid alcohol. Do not drive until you know your response.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
