Nexito 5 contains escitalopram in a low strength, often used to start treatment or for sensitive patients. It is an SSRI antidepressant from Sun Pharma's Nexito brand.

Escitalopram gently raises serotonin levels in the brain by blocking its reuptake. The lower strength helps the body adjust to the medicine at the start of treatment.

Take the tablet with water at the same time each day, exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.
