Levera 1000 from Intas is a levetiracetam tablet used to control different types of epileptic seizures in adults and children.

• Partial-onset seizures
• Generalised tonic-clonic seizures
• Myoclonic seizures in juvenile myoclonic epilepsy
• Add-on therapy in difficult-to-control epilepsy

Levetiracetam is an anti-epileptic drug. It binds to a brain protein (SV2A) involved in releasing nerve signals, calming overactive electrical activity that triggers seizures.

Swallow the tablet whole with water, as prescribed by your doctor. Take it at the same times each day and do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

• Mood changes, irritability
• Headache
• Loss of appetite

Tell your doctor about kidney problems, depression or mood issues, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Avoid driving until you know how the medicine affects you.

Store below 25 degrees C in a dry place, away from sunlight. Keep the strip sealed and out of children's reach.
