Zolfresh from Abbott contains Zolpidem, a short-acting sleep medicine. The 10 mg strength is usually used for adults with serious short-term sleep problems, only under medical guidance.

Zolpidem belongs to a group called Z-drugs. It acts on GABA receptors in the brain, calming brain activity and helping you fall asleep faster and stay asleep through the night.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, just before bedtime when you can have a full night's sleep. Swallow the tablet whole on an empty stomach and avoid food right before.

This is a Schedule X medicine and can be habit-forming. Avoid alcohol and do not drive next morning if you feel sleepy. Tell the doctor about breathing, liver, depression or substance-use history, pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Keep the strip in its original pack and out of reach of children.
