OM 10 tab

OM 10 tablets from Zoic combine Chlordiazepoxide, a benzodiazepine, with Trifluoperazine, an antipsychotic. The fixed-dose mix is prescribed for short-term relief of anxiety with mood symptoms. It is a Schedule X medicine and must be taken under strict medical supervision.

Chlordiazepoxide calms over-active nerve signals in the brain by boosting a chemical called GABA. Trifluoperazine balances dopamine activity to ease tension, fear and disturbed thoughts. Together they bring a calmer, more settled feeling.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not stop suddenly even if you feel better, as your doctor will reduce the dose slowly.

• Drowsiness or sleepiness

• Dizziness or unsteady walking
• Constipation
• Blurred vision
• Muscle stiffness or tremor

Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine. Avoid driving or operating machinery. Tell the doctor about liver, kidney, glaucoma or heart problems, pregnancy or breastfeeding. This is a habit-forming medicine; never share it.

Store below 25°C in a dry place away from light. Keep in the original strip. Keep out of reach of children.
