Lonazep 0.5 from Sun Pharma contains clonazepam, a benzodiazepine used in certain seizure disorders and panic-related conditions. It is a Schedule X medicine and must only be used under close medical supervision.

• Short-term help with severe anxiety

Clonazepam boosts the calming chemical messenger GABA in the brain, which dials down over-active nerve signalling. This helps prevent seizures and eases the racing thoughts and bodily symptoms of panic.

Take as prescribed by your doctor with a glass of water. Do not stop suddenly, since the dose usually needs to be tapered down to avoid withdrawal effects.
