Librium 25 from Abbott contains a higher strength of Chlordiazepoxide, a benzodiazepine. This Schedule X prescription medicine is used for severe anxiety and to help manage alcohol withdrawal under close medical supervision.

Chlordiazepoxide enhances the calming action of GABA, a natural brain messenger. This slows over-active nerve signals so you feel calmer and less tense.

Swallow the tablet whole with water, exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Never increase the dose or stop suddenly on your own; your doctor will guide any changes.
