Amitone Plus 10 tab

Amitone Plus is a lower-strength combination of amitriptyline and chlordiazepoxide used for depression that comes with anxiety. It is a Schedule X medicine and is supplied only against a valid prescription.

Amitriptyline raises mood-related chemicals like serotonin and noradrenaline in the brain, while chlordiazepoxide boosts the action of GABA, the brain's natural calming signal, helping reduce anxiety and tension.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, often at bedtime. Swallow whole with water and use only for as long as your doctor advises.

• Constipation
• Unsteadiness or mild confusion

Share any history of breathing problems, liver or kidney disease, glaucoma, prostate issues or substance misuse. Avoid alcohol, do not drive until you know how it affects you, and never stop suddenly.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place away from light, and keep secure and out of reach of children given its Schedule X status.
