Zapiz 0.25 from Intas contains clonazepam, a benzodiazepine medicine. It is a Schedule X drug in India and is prescribed under close medical supervision for select neurological and psychiatric conditions.

• Certain types of seizures and epilepsy
• Panic disorder and severe anxiety
• Some movement disorders, as decided by the doctor

Clonazepam enhances the calming effect of a brain chemical called GABA, which dampens excess electrical activity in the brain and reduces seizures, anxiety and over-excitement.

Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, with water. Do not stop the tablet suddenly, as this can cause withdrawal symptoms or rebound seizures.

• Drowsiness and tiredness
• Dizziness or unsteadiness
• Memory or concentration problems
• Dependence with long-term use

Avoid alcohol and do not drive or operate machinery until you know how the tablet affects you. Tell your doctor about all other medicines, especially other sedatives or pain medicines, and about pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place. Keep strictly out of reach of children and away from anyone for whom it has not been prescribed.
