Product information
About
Petril Plus is a prescription combination from Micro Labs that brings together two active ingredients to help calm anxiety while supporting mood balance. Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine that quiets nervous-system overactivity, and Escitalopram is an SSRI that helps restore the balance of serotonin in the brain. Together, they are often used in short- and medium-term care plans for anxious-depressive conditions.
Uses
- Anxiety disorders with depressive symptoms
- Panic disorder
- Generalised anxiety conditions
- Mixed anxiety and depression as advised by your doctor
How it works
Clonazepam enhances the calming effect of GABA in the brain, which eases racing thoughts and physical tension. Escitalopram gently lifts mood over time by increasing the availability of serotonin between nerve cells. The two together provide quick relief along with longer-term mood support.
How to take
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually with water and at the same time each day. Do not stop suddenly even if you feel better — your doctor will guide you to taper gradually.
Side effects
- Drowsiness or tiredness
- Dizziness or unsteadiness
- Dry mouth or nausea
