Lopez MD 1 from Intas is a mouth-dissolving tablet of lorazepam, a benzodiazepine. It is used for short-term relief of severe anxiety and is a Schedule X medicine that needs close medical supervision.

Lorazepam enhances GABA, a calming brain chemical that slows over-firing nerve signals. The mouth-dissolving form melts on the tongue, which can suit people who find it hard to swallow tablets.

Place the tablet on the tongue as prescribed by your doctor and let it dissolve, then swallow with saliva or a sip of water. Do not stop the medicine suddenly without medical advice.
