Regestrone 5 from Torrent contains Norethisterone, a progestogen hormone. Doctors prescribe it for several menstrual problems including heavy or painful periods and to delay periods for short-term reasons.

Norethisterone is a progestogen, similar to the natural hormone progesterone. It steadies the lining of the womb, reduces excessive shedding and bleeding, and helps regularise the menstrual cycle.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, around the same time each day. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice; your doctor will guide on when to start and stop.
