Dinogest

Dinogest from Koye contains dienogest 2 mg, a progestin hormone used mainly in women's health. It is widely prescribed for the long-term management of endometriosis and related conditions.

Dienogest is a progestin, a synthetic form of the natural hormone progesterone. It calms down the over-active tissue in endometriosis by reducing the hormonal stimulation that makes it grow and bleed. Over time this helps ease pain and lighten periods.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, swallowed with water at about the same time each day, even during your period. Continue for the full course your doctor plans.

• Headache, breast tenderness or mood changes
• Acne or mild weight change
• Occasional nausea

Tell your doctor about any history of blood clots, liver disease, unexplained vaginal bleeding, breast cancer or pregnancy. Use of additional non-hormonal contraception may be advised. Regular follow-up helps track how you are responding.
