Depran H from Intas combines Escitalopram, an antidepressant, with Etizolam, a short-acting anti-anxiety medicine. Doctors prescribe it for depression with marked anxiety, tension or sleep disturbance.

Escitalopram is an SSRI that increases serotonin in the brain to improve mood. Etizolam is a thienodiazepine that calms over-active nerves quickly, easing anxiety and helping sleep in the early weeks.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not stop suddenly, as withdrawal symptoms can occur.

This is a Schedule X medicine and is habit-forming if used for long. Tell the doctor about liver, kidney, breathing or seizure problems, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Avoid alcohol and do not drive until you know how it affects you.

Store below 25 degrees Celsius in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep in the original strip and well out of reach of children.
