Lacotide 150 10 tab

Lacotide 150 from Intas contains Lacosamide in a mid-range strength. It is prescribed by doctors for focal seizures in adults and adolescents.

• Focal-onset seizures
• Add-on therapy for partial seizures
• Generalised tonic-clonic seizures in some cases

Lacosamide works on sodium channels in nerve cells in a slow, selective manner. This calms the abnormal electrical bursts in the brain that cause seizures.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow with water with or without food, at the same time each day. Do not change the dose or stop on your own.

Share any heart rhythm issues, kidney or liver disease, depression or mood changes with the doctor. Avoid alcohol. Avoid driving until you know how you respond.
