Lacotide 100 10 tab

Lacotide 100 from Intas contains Lacosamide, an anti-epileptic medicine. Doctors prescribe it for focal seizures in adults and older children.

• Focal-onset seizures
• Add-on therapy for partial seizures
• Generalised tonic-clonic seizures in some cases

Lacosamide acts gently on sodium channels in brain nerve cells. It steadies the over-active electrical signals that trigger seizures, reducing how often they happen.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow with water at the same times every day. Can be taken with or without food. Do not stop suddenly.

• Double or blurred vision
• Tiredness

Tell the doctor about heart rhythm trouble, kidney or liver disease or mood changes. Avoid alcohol. Be cautious while driving until you are stable on the dose.

Store below 25°C in a dry place away from sunlight. Keep in original strip out of reach of children.
