Lacotide 200 10 tab

Lacotide 200 from Intas is a higher-strength Lacosamide tablet. Doctors prescribe it for ongoing control of focal seizures in adults and older adolescents.

• Focal-onset seizures
• Add-on or stand-alone therapy for partial seizures
• Generalised tonic-clonic seizures in some cases

Lacosamide quietens over-active nerve signals in the brain by acting slowly on sodium channels. This makes seizures less frequent and helps day-to-day stability.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow with water with or without food. Keep the timing steady every day. Never stop the medicine suddenly.

• Dizziness or unsteady walk
• Headache
• Nausea
• Double or blurred vision
• Tiredness

Tell the doctor about heart rhythm trouble, kidney or liver disease, or mood changes. Avoid alcohol. Do not drive until you are stable on the dose. Inform the doctor if you plan a pregnancy.
