Erdostyne 300 10 cap

Erdostyne 300 is a Cipla capsule containing erdosteine, a mucolytic (mucus-thinning) medicine often used when chesty coughs become hard to clear.

• Productive cough with thick phlegm
• Chronic bronchitis flare-ups
• Other airway conditions where mucus needs loosening

Erdosteine breaks the bonds inside mucus, making it thinner and easier to cough out. This helps clear the airways and supports easier breathing.

Swallow whole with water, as prescribed by your doctor. It is usually taken with food to be gentler on the stomach. Drinking plenty of fluids helps the medicine work better.

• Mild nausea or upset stomach
• Headache
• Altered taste
• Skin rash (uncommon)

Tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, peptic ulcer, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid mixing with cough suppressants unless advised, as trapped mucus can worsen the cough.
