Quel 50 from Ipca contains quetiapine, an atypical antipsychotic medicine used to manage certain mental health conditions including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

• Management of bipolar disorder, including manic and depressive episodes
• As an add-on treatment in major depression
• Helps reduce agitation and disturbed sleep linked to these conditions

Quetiapine balances key brain chemicals, mainly dopamine and serotonin, which helps improve mood, thinking and behaviour in people with these conditions.

Swallow whole with water, usually at bedtime as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop suddenly; your doctor will guide any dose changes.

• Drowsiness or sleepiness
• Dizziness, especially on standing up
• Dry mouth
• Weight gain over time

Tell your doctor about heart problems, diabetes, seizures, low blood pressure or pregnancy. Avoid alcohol and driving until you know how it affects you.

Store below 25 degrees C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of children's reach.
