Zytonic 300 10 tab

Zytonic 300 contains Ferrous Ascorbate with Folic Acid. It is a haematinic tablet used to treat and prevent iron and folate deficiency anaemia, often during pregnancy and recovery.

• Iron-deficiency anaemia
• Anaemia in pregnancy and after childbirth
• Folic acid deficiency
• Tiredness and weakness due to low iron
• Support during heavy menstrual bleeding

Ferrous Ascorbate is a well-absorbed form of iron that helps the body make haemoglobin, the protein that carries oxygen in red blood cells. Folic acid supports the production and maturing of these red blood cells.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, preferably with or just after food to reduce stomach upset. Swallow whole with water. Avoid taking with tea, coffee or milk as they reduce iron absorption.

• Black-coloured stools (harmless)
• Constipation or loose motions
• Nausea or stomach discomfort
• Metallic taste

Tell your doctor if you have stomach ulcers, iron-overload disease or are on antacids. Keep at least a 2-hour gap from antacids and calcium tablets. Inform the doctor about all other medicines.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep in the original strip and out of the reach of children.
