Fericip XT

Fericip XT from Cipla is a haematinic tablet that pairs Ferrous Ascorbate, a gentle and well-absorbed form of iron, with Folic Acid to support healthy blood.

• Treating iron-deficiency anaemia
• Supporting haemoglobin in pregnancy
• Helping with weakness from low iron
• Topping up iron and folate together

Ferrous Ascorbate combines iron with vitamin C, which helps the iron stay in a form that is easier for the body to absorb and use for making haemoglobin. Folic Acid supports the production of healthy red blood cells.

Take as prescribed by your doctor, with water and ideally away from tea, coffee, or dairy for better absorption. Try to take it at the same time each day.

• Mild nausea or stomach upset
• Constipation or, less often, loose stools
• Dark-coloured stools
• Metallic taste in the mouth

Tell your doctor about any iron-overload conditions or ulcers before starting. Do not double up if you miss a dose, and keep iron tablets well away from children as overdose can be dangerous.

Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
