Pacitane 30 tab

Pacitane from Pfizer contains trihexyphenidyl, an anticholinergic medicine used in Parkinson's disease and to control movement problems caused by certain antipsychotic medicines. It helps with stiffness, tremor and abnormal postures.

Trihexyphenidyl blocks the action of acetylcholine in parts of the brain that control movement. Lowering this signal helps rebalance the brain chemistry disturbed in Parkinson's and reduces drug-induced stiffness and tremor.

Take the tablet by mouth as prescribed by your doctor, usually with food or a glass of water to limit stomach upset. Do not stop suddenly; your doctor will adjust the dose gradually.

Use carefully if you have glaucoma, enlarged prostate, heart problems or memory issues. Avoid alcohol, and be cautious driving until you know how it affects you. Tell your doctor about all other medicines you take.

Store at room temperature in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep in the original strip and out of reach of children.
