Ropark 0.25 10 tab

Ropark from Sun Pharma is a tablet containing Ropinirole, a medicine of the dopamine agonist class. The 0.25 mg strength is typically used at the start of treatment to help the body get used to the medicine gradually.

• Parkinson's disease
• Restless legs syndrome (moderate to severe)

In Parkinson's disease, levels of a brain chemical called dopamine fall, which affects movement. Ropinirole acts like dopamine on the same receptors in the brain, helping to ease stiffness, tremor and slow movement, and to settle restless legs at night.

Swallow with water as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. Do not stop suddenly, as the dose usually needs to be reduced step by step.

• Nausea
• Drowsiness and sudden sleep attacks
• Dizziness on standing up
• Mild swelling of the legs

Tell your doctor about heart, liver or mental health problems. Avoid driving until you know how this medicine affects you. Alcohol can increase drowsiness and should be avoided.
