Ropark 1 10 tab

Ropark 1 from Sun Pharma is a tablet of Ropinirole, a dopamine agonist. The 1 mg strength is used as a maintenance dose for many people with Parkinson's disease or restless legs syndrome.

• Parkinson's disease
• Restless legs syndrome (moderate to severe)

Dopamine is a brain chemical that controls smooth body movement. In Parkinson's disease its levels fall. Ropinirole stimulates the same receptors as dopamine, helping to reduce stiffness, tremor and slow movement, and to ease restless legs.

Swallow with water as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. The dose is usually built up gradually, and any change should be made only on medical advice.

• Nausea
• Drowsiness or sudden sleep attacks
• Dizziness on standing up
• Mild swelling of the legs

Inform your doctor of heart, liver or mental health issues, including any unusual urges (such as gambling) noticed after starting the medicine. Avoid driving until you know how it affects you. Avoid alcohol.

Keep in original strip below 25 degrees Celsius, away from moisture and sunlight. Store out of children's reach.
