Rivamer 3 from Sun Pharma is a higher strength of Rivastigmine, a cholinesterase inhibitor used in dementia care. Doctors usually move to this strength once the body has adjusted to a starter dose.

Rivastigmine slows down the breakdown of acetylcholine in the brain, a chemical that helps with memory and thinking. With more of this messenger available, brain cells can communicate better.

Take as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the capsule whole with water, preferably with breakfast and dinner. Do not chew or open the capsule. Continue regularly even if there is no quick change in symptoms.
